We welcome you in Lexington for Alltech's 23rd International Feed Industry Symposium. Over the next three days, you will hear presentations on some of the most creative and innovative research taking place in the feed and food industries today.
Symposium will begin this morning with the traditional Fun Run in downtown Lexington. During the morning session, Lexington Mayor Jim Newbeny will speak about the impact of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games on the local community, the state of Kentucky, and the world. Today and Tuesday, don't miss the species sessions that focus on nutritional topics for swine, poultry, dairy and beef, equine, aquaculture, pets and feed quality. This evening, we'll end the day with another Symposium tradition, "Kentucky Night." Held on the Alltech farm, our guests will experience an unforgettable taste and feel of Kentucky!
On Tuesday, be sure to visit the international poster session before watching the presentation of the second Young Animal Scientist Award. On Wednesday, Dr. Karl Dawson and Dr. Ronan Power will close Symposium with timely talks about new technologies in animal health, raw material costs, mycotoxins, and the science of "feeding the gene" - nutrigenomics.
